The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) evaluated Shown & Company in Knoxville on Feb. 23 to review foodborne biological hazards, according to data posted on the FDA’s website.

The final report concluded that Shown & Company was not required to make changes to any operational management processes.

The FDA conducts regular inspections at facilities nationwide to ensure workplaces and their products comply with laws and regulations the agency enforces to promote public health. Results of these inspections are made publicly available.

According to its website, the FDA is a federal agency responsible for overseeing the safety and quality of human and animal drugs, biological products, medical devices and tobacco products.
