U.S. Congressman Tim Burchett has successfully initiated a motion for the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform to issue a subpoena for Ghislaine Maxwell. The motion, which was passed unanimously by the Government Operations Subcommittee, aims to compel Maxwell to appear for a deposition.

Ghislaine Maxwell is known for her involvement in Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking operation. Her testimony is expected to provide insights into Epstein’s criminal network and efforts to conceal his crimes.

“Today, I am proud to announce that the Oversight Committee approved my motion directing Chairman Comer to subpoena Ms. Ghislaine Maxwell to appear before the House Oversight Committee,” stated Rep. Burchett. “This deposition will help the American people understand how Jeffrey Epstein was able to carry out his evil actions for so long without being brought to justice.”
