The Knox County Sheriff’s Office announced on May 28 that it will host a community event called “Crafts with a Cop” at Target, located at 1900 Town Center Blvd., Knoxville. The event is scheduled for Monday, June 2, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The event aims to bring together residents of all ages and local law enforcement for a morning of craft-making and interaction. According to the announcement, participants will have the opportunity to make crafts alongside Knox County Deputies.

Organizers say the initiative is designed to foster positive relationships between law enforcement and the community. Events like these are part of ongoing efforts by the sheriff’s office to engage with residents in informal settings.

The sheriff’s office said it looks forward to welcoming attendees and encourages families and individuals from across Knoxville to participate in this summertime activity.

“We look forward to seeing you there!” the announcement said.
