On Sunday, April 6, former Hardin Valley Academy standout Lukas Cook’s current college team, the Purdue Boilermakers, lost 5-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Washington Huskies.
The game took place at Husky Ballpark. This was their third matchup against the Huskies this season.
The Boilermakers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8 at 4 p.m. at Alexander Field against Indiana State Sycamores.
Tennessee secured a 9-7 victory over Oklahoma in their series opener at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Key performances included home runs from Levi Clark and Henry Ford as well as strong relief pitching late in the game.
