Rep. Tim Burchett, U.S. Congressman representing Tennessee’s 2nd district since 2019, has recently used his official press office account to address several key issues and initiatives in a series of tweets.
On March 17, 2026, the Rep. Tim Burchett Press Office highlighted federal support for forensic investigations: “FGG testing in this case was made possible through U.S. Congressman Tim Burchett’s 2024 Community Project Funding request through the Bureau of Justice Assistance.”– @TBInvestigation.
Two days later, on March 19, 2026, the account publicly endorsed Senator Mullin for a role at the Department of Homeland Security: “Don’t listen to the nonsense in the media. @SenMullin is the man for the job, and I’m looking forward to working with him at @DHSgov”.
Later that same day, Rep. Burchett announced an official communication regarding a U.S. Navy vessel: “BREAKINGToday, Rep. Burchett wrote a letter to Secretary Hegseth urging him to rename the USNS Cesar Chavez.
“Due to recent revelations that Mr. Chavez sexually abused women and children, I am respectfully requesting the vessel be named after someone who better reflects”.
