Rep. Tim Burchett, who represents Tennessee’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on his official X account regarding an award and a facility tour.

On March 30, 2026, Burchett announced receiving recognition from FRC Action: “Honored to have been awarded the One Hundred Percent Award, from @FRCAction for 2025. This award is presented to members of Congress who achieved a 100% score on the FRC Action Vote Scorecard for their consistent support of legislation that protects faith, family, and freedom.”

Later that day, he posted about visiting a local business: “I’m very grateful to Timken for the opportunity to tour the Mascot facility. It was impressive to see how the company is driving innovation, particularly in railroad transportation. I also appreciated the chance to meet the hard-working men and women who make this work possible,” on March 30, 2026.

On April 1, 2026, Burchett invited constituents to subscribe for direct updates: “Want to hear breaking news from me? Sign up here: https://t.co/aYNAM7xSy1”

Born in Knoxville in 1964 and currently residing there at age 58, Burchett holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
