The campaign committee of Republican Party candidate Tim Burchett, Burchett for Congress, refunded $2,900 to Mark Williams on May 18, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Contribution refund to an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Burchett for Congress has refunded $5,700 total since Dec. 1, 2020.
