The Tennessee Lady Volunteers softball team announced on Apr. 6 that it will conclude its eight-game homestand with two midweek matchups against East Tennessee State University (ETSU) and Kennesaw State. The games are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium, both beginning at 6 p.m.

This announcement comes after the Lady Vols secured a Southeastern Conference series win over No. 25 South Carolina, bringing their season record to 32-6. The upcoming games mark Tennessee’s fifth meeting with an in-state opponent this season, having won the previous four by a combined score of 30-1. Historically, the team holds a dominant record of 150-4 against other teams from Tennessee.

Fans attending the games should be aware that parking near Sherri Parker Lee Stadium is limited due to ongoing improvements around the venue for the current season. Free parking is available on Stephenson Drive in Lot CR25 and along Stephenson Drive itself, with overflow options at Ag Campus Lot CC1 and G7 Garage near Allan Jones Aquatics Center. Complimentary shuttles will operate from these lots before and after each game, including ADA-accessible shuttles from Ag Campus.

Both contests will be streamed live on SEC Network+ and through the WatchESPN app, featuring Jill Jelnick as play-by-play announcer with Michelle LeCourse (Tuesday) and Faith Cain (Wednesday) as analysts. Audio broadcasts by Brian Rice can also be accessed via UTSports.com or the Tennessee Athletics Gameday App.

Junior Alannah Leach has been highlighted for her recent performance, batting .440 over her last ten games with five runs scored and four home runs—including three during last weekend’s series against South Carolina—leading her team in home runs this season. The pitching staff continues its collective approach; five pitchers have started games this year, combining for an earned run average of 1.11 across 247 innings.

After these home games, Tennessee is set to travel for a three-game series against Kentucky from April 11-13.
