Tennessee sophomore Blaine Brown has been named to the 2026 John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Year Watch List, according to an announcement from the College Baseball Foundation. Brown is one of 49 players selected for consideration for the award, which recognizes top two-way players in college baseball.

The John Olerud Award has been presented annually since 2010 and is named after former Washington State University player John Olerud. Olerud was notable for his achievements as both a first baseman and a left-handed pitcher during the late 1980s, later spending 17 years in Major League Baseball. He was inducted into the National College Baseball Hall of Fame in 2007.

Brown has made significant contributions to the Tennessee Volunteers this season. He leads the team with 13 runs batted in over 12 games and holds a 1.037 on-base plus slugging percentage (OPS). He is also tied for the team lead with five doubles and four home runs.

In addition to his performance at the plate, Brown has started three midweek games as a pitcher, recording scoreless outings in two of those appearances.
