The fifth-ranked Tennessee rowing team will host the second annual Rocky Top Invite on April 3 and 4 at Melton Hill Lake in Oak Ridge, Tenn. The event will feature twelve heats on Friday starting at 3:00 p.m., with semifinals and finals scheduled for Saturday morning.

The regatta brings together eight other teams alongside Tennessee, including No. 14 Pennsylvania, No. 15 Duke, No. 17 Alabama, No. 24 University of Southern California, No. 25 University of California Los Angeles, Clemson, Iowa, and Minnesota.

Saturday’s semifinals will begin at 8:00 a.m., with final races commencing from 11:54 a.m. The semifinal heats are seeded based on Friday’s results. Each race includes two finals: the top final featuring the fastest boats from each semifinal and one additional fastest boat overall; remaining crews compete in the consolation final.

After competition concludes on Saturday afternoon, Tennessee will honor its senior class of 2026 with a ceremony held along the shoreline.

The event is free for all fans to attend. Spectators can access multiple viewing areas along the lake’s shoreline and parking is available at the Oak Ridge Rowing Association facility located at 697 Melton Lake Drive in Oak Ridge.
