WASHINGTON, D.C., – On the latest episode of Tennessee Talks, a Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency officer joins Rep. Tim Burchett (TN-02) to talk about TWRA’s mission and conservation efforts in the state of Tennessee.
“This is a great bunch over at TWRA,” said Rep. Burchett. “I grew up spending a lot of time outdoors, so the work they do means a lot to me. Tennessee residents are blessed with our resources and natural beauty here in the state and TWRA does a good job at making sure it stays that way.”
The mission of the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is to preserve, conserve, manage, protect, and enhance the fish and wildlife of the state and their habitats for the use, benefit, and enjoyment of the citizens of Tennessee and its visitors. The agency also fosters the safe use of the state’s waters through a program of law enforcement, education, and access.
