Following the birth of Zoo Knoxville's new female African lion cub, UTCVM-University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine stepped in to perform emergency surgery on her mom, Amara, who suffered complications during the birth. Amara is on the mend and able to care for her new cub!
