The Tennessee track & field program kicked off the 2023 outdoor season with a top five all-time program mark in the 10,000-meter run from Rachel Sutliff late Thursday night at the Raleigh Relays.

The sophomore from Grapevine, Texas, competed in the invitational section and turned in a time of 33:54.26 on the 25-lapper, setting a two-minute, 20-second lifetime best and moving to No. 3 on Tennessee's all-time list. Her mark finished 20th overall and is the fastest in the SEC through two weeks of 2023 outdoor competition.

Lady Vol junior Callie Tucker came next in the second section of the open 10k, running 35:11.64 to PR by 55 seconds and place herself No. 11 on UT's all-time list of top performers. The Knoxville native ranks third among SEC 10k runners during the 2023 outdoor season.

True freshman Yordanos Zelinski opened the outdoor campaign in his first collegiate 5,000-meter run earlier Thursday evening, finishing 65th out of 223 runners in Raleigh with a time of 14:17.51.
