Pellissippi State Community College Will Host a “Love Never Dies” Memorial Quilt

Did you know that more than 1,100 lives are lost in Tennessee each year to suicide – and that there are an estimated 25 attempted suicides for each suicide death? Pellissippi State President Anthony Wise met with student advocates and counselors today to sign a proclamation reiterating Pellissippi State’s commitment to working to prevent suicide and to increasing tolerance for those affected by suicide.

This month Pellissippi State will host a “Love Never Dies” Memorial Quilt, a project of the Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network, at each of its five campuses, as well as 22 pairs of military boots that represent the 22 veteran lives lost each day to suicide.

The College will host five suicide prevention trainings later this month, sign up for those trainings here: https://loom.ly/tpaZ-Sg
