The Tennessee men's and women's cross-country teams wrapped up the regular season Friday in Blacksburg at the Hokie Open.
The men sent a small squad to race in the 6K with just four Vols competing. Fuji Anday led UT with a seventh-place finish overall at 18:53.5. Matthew McMillan crossed the finish line in 13th at 19:26.4 and was followed closely by Conner Hawkins in 16th at 19:35.1.
Mike Griffin rounded out the quartet in 25th, crossing the line in 20:47.6.
The women had six runners in the 4K field who all finished inside the top 15. Marilyn McCarthy placed fifth overall with a time of 14:58.1. Landri Wilcox was seventh at 15:05.5.
A pack of Lady Vols finished 9-12 led by Emma Kate Hamby at 15:29.7. Kathleen Maley finished next in 15:33.0, with Ainsley Cooper getting home in 15:45.0 and Jette Davidson running 15:54.0.
