Pellissippi State thanked student, faculty and staff veterans -- as well as their family members -- during a ceremony Friday on the Hardin Valley Campus. Student Charles Wilhite, a veteran of the U.S. Army, received the first Joseph Stern Veteran Student Scholarship from the Pellissippi State Foundation, and student Erin Russell, a veteran of the U.S. Army, received the Chancellor's Commendation for Military Veterans. Our Variations choir also performed a selection of patriotic songs. Thank you to all the brave men and women who have served our country in the armed forces!
