Pellissippi State's 8th annual Young Creative Writer's Workshop was a wonderful success this past weekend! Young up-and-coming authors spent the day learning valuable writing skills from a number of speakers, enjoyed Appalachian musical pieces, took part in traditional Appalachian dancing and learned from historical costumed interpreters. A special "thank you" to Pellissippi State Library Services, the Appalachian Heritage Project and the Pellissippi State Foundation for sponsoring this event.
