The LOC women's basketball team fell 65-46 to Clark Atlanta University Saturday afternoon at Bruce-Johnson Hall.
Prior to Saturday's game the Lady Magicians had been playing their best ball of the season and picked up wins against Tougaloo College and Harris Stowe. The Team scored 68 points in their game against Tougaloo which was their highest point total of the season. In both of those games they had more than two players in double-figures.
The Lady Magicians trailed 23-22 at halftime after jumping out to a 13-8 first quarter lead. For the first three quarters the two teams traded baskets and neither team could quite gain momentum. In the fourth quarter it was all Clark Atlanta, the Lady Panthers went on a 24-7 run to close the game, giving them their third win of the season.
Sierra Lynch was the lone player in double-figures for the Lady Magicians, Lynch scored 15 points and shot 9-11 from the free throw line. Team will finish the year 4-7 and wont take the floor again until January 2nd when they will travel to Savannah State.
