Memphis senior guard Elijah McCadden earned a spot on the AAC's weekly honor roll for his recent performances.
The Rocky Mount, North Carolina native averaged 18.0 points and 6.0 rebounds for the Tigers in their split against UCF and No. 2 Houston this past week.
He had 16 points and six boards Thursday against the Knights in a season-high 37 minutes. He shot 4-of-5 from the floor and went 7-of-8 at the free throw line.
McCadden followed with a season-high 20 points and six rebounds Sunday on the road against teh Cougars. He scored all 20 points in the second half after going 6-of-10 overall and 7-of-12 at the charity stripe.
For the week he shot 66.7 percent from the field (10-15) and 70.0 percent at the line (14-20). He was the first Tiger not named Kendric Davis or DeAndre Williams to lead the team in scoring this season, and he did so in both outings.
For the season, he is now up to 7.9 points and 4.1 rebounds per game. He's reached double figures in four-straight games and in five of his last six overall.
